I graduated from Neville High School in 2003. After high school I attended Grambling State University and I graduated in the fall of 2008. Shortly after, I moved to Georgia where I graduated with my master’s degree in August 2012.

I started teaching at Jack Hayes the 2017-2018 school year. I’ve been in Ouachita Parish for 6 years. I currently teach 5th grade math, science, and spelling.
Prior to working at Jack Hayes, I started teaching at Carver Elementary School in January 2009. I have taught at Robinson Elementary, Swartz Upper and Robinson Elementary here in Monroe. I also taught 4 years in Macon, Georgia at Jessie Rice Elementary School currently known as Southfield Elementary.
Yes, I am married. I am a newlywed, recently married in December 2017. I have 3 children. One goes to school here and I have one in junior high and my other child is at another elementary school here in Monroe.
My hobbies include traveling. When I’m not teaching my family and I are traveling to see different sites and enjoy the different cultures. We love to take as many trips as possible to add to the experiences we share as a family.
