Education

Educational History:

  1. Graduated from LaSalle High School, LaSalle Parish (2004)
  2. Graduated from University of Louisiana at Monroe (2008,2012)

Degrees and Certifications:

  1. Bachelor’s of Business Administration (2008)
  2. Master’s of Arts and Teaching (2012)

Current Position:

  1. I began teaching at Jack Hayes Elementary August 2016.
  2. I have been with the Ouachita Parish School District since August 2016.
  3. I am currently teaching ELA (Reading & Grammar) and Social Studies. 

Previous Position:

  1. I began my teaching careeer August 2010.
  2. Prior to teaching at Jack Hayes Elementary, I taught special education in Caldwell Parish for three years. I also taught special education in a school district in Mississippi for two years and then made the switch to regular education in the fall of 2015. 
  3. I am a second generation educator with a love for students and learning.
